Not too often...........

Not too often do you get the opportunity to do what I did over July 4th.  With my 88 yo parents, we travelled to Good Hart to enjoy "home" with the Randels, Faber and Saladin families.  Although it lasted only a short five days, it was rich with family, tradition and fun.  We are so thankful to be able to celebrate our "independence" with our "dependence" on that which matters - family.   Below are photos (stolen from Pete's collage - thanks, Pete), that show just a few of the highlights of that remarkable trip.  I wish I had a picture of the fabulous food that we ate including the homemade ice cream and the "best lasagna" I have ever had - thanks, Dawn!!  Is it too much to ask for another year just like this one???
