Sarah's traumatic first day of pre-K school

Text received today at 12:01 p.m. from my oldest child - regarding her oldest's first day to ride a bus:

OMG! The bus just came 30 minutes EARLY!  Just sent my oldest off to school with no lunch!!   And the bus driver and helper were two 30 year oldish men!  Is it inappropriate to ask for ID?  Max is the first pick up so his was the only little head barely peaking above the seats on that ginormous bus!  I am freaking out!  I'm tempted to follow the bus on it's route to make sure it gets to school.  Is this normal?
My response to my hysterical daughter:
Yes it is normal.  Follow the bus, not for Max's safety, but for your sanity!

Just in at 5:04 p.m.:
And now my child is lost on the bus!  They put him on the wrong bus and did I mention that the bus broke down so it's running late! They have located him but I'm still waiting...
Oh dear, make that appointment with the therapist soon, Sarah.  You will need it in order to deal with the trauma you child is experiencing - with your hysteria!!

And received moments ago:
Max is home.  He thought the bus ride home was just really long.  On a side note, received a note from Connor's (her 3 year-old who also was having a first day of preschool) teacher stating that he used the easel as a toilet today.  Peed right into the chalk holder!  I'm going to need a few glasses of wine tonight.
PS Did I mention that I got stung by a bee today - in the armpit???
When I just called Sarah to see if there was anything I could do to help - she was making finger jello.  I suggested perhaps she should be making two batches - finger jello for the kids and jello shots for her!!
