Just finished a wonderful week with family - including my three children and their spouses, 10 grandsons, 2 nieces and a friend, one brother, one nephew/fiance/and a little GIRL! The week was full of fun - scavenger hunts, nature walks, beach time, fireworks, parade, shopping and of course, a trip to Mackinac Island. The week can be summed up in the words of a three year old: After hiking around the island and then going for ice cream halfway up the hill to the Grand Hotel, Opie turns to his Aunt Sarah and says: "I think I have run out of gas." That is the way the rest of us feel, I am sure - today as we return to reality.
