All Eight!!
Did I mention that there is not ONE brown-eyed one in the bunch!!
Did I mention that there is not ONE brown-eyed one in the bunch!!
Today was a great day. For a lot of reasons. As you can see, all eight of my grandchildren were in one place!! Those who know me well know that the fact that all eight and their parents were together meant the world to me. Baby steps............figuratively and literally.
Peter and Roxanne (less than a week from a C-section delivery of Roman) managed to get us all together, including Kirk and Celeste for a "Baby Time" to meet Roman. Roxanne is a real trooper - and Peter is a great husband. They made chili and we supplied the rest. Fun time talking and laughing about all these "boys". It was truly a sight to behold. There were times I was just speechless amidst all this joy. The only scene I could not capture was Jason and Peter teaching Max and Connor how to hit a golf ball at the country club across the street. Not sure who had the better shot, but I would bet on Connor.
A special thank you to my parents who gave up yet another day with me so that I could have all of this. Enjoy the pictures below that captured the day...........
